ilove my Queens day finds

I found a lot of great things at the Queens day mega fleamarket which i can use for all kinds of things. Let me show you.

Vintage handkerchiefs, i tied them together and want to use them for my youngest daughter birthday party.

Remember my letterbak post? I found these little wooden shoes and the letterbak to display them in.

The print on this plate is so beautiful , i just had to buy it.

The post i did about reviving and recycling got me insired to buy this. I want to  refurnish an old footstool and found this cute embroidery.

This hotel silver tray was a bargain.I will use it to put my flower bottles on, so they look even nicer.

I had a happy Queens day!

  3. Oh, gorgeous! I love the idea of the handkerchiefs tied together, that is sooo clever, and I am loving banners and hanging lanterns these days! Re: your comment on my post, I LOVE Sedaris, have seen him read live twice and have all his books and books on CD. Check out "Cake," if you like Sedaris you'll really like her, she's ironic and hilarious! And on the topic of laugh out loud books, I laughed out loud all the way through "Julie and Julia," actually

  4. Yes you DID have a HappyQueensDay. I love flea markets~my house is so full though...never thought I'd say THAT~you can tell by my previous posts! But you can never have too much "stuffs" as my nephew used to say. We have Dollar Tree stores here and everything is a dollar and when we took him we gave him $6 and he got 6 stuffs! I love that. So you got lots of good Stuffs!

  12. Wow! I love all your finds! Especially the hankies! I am in the middle of sewing vintage hankies onto a ribbon to make a bunting. They make the sweetest bunting, your daughter will love it for her party. Your shoes are very sweetly displayed in the box and I adore all silver!

    Have a great day,
    Kate
