ilovemykitchen

As written earlier we spend a lot of time renovating our house. The old kitchen used to with orange, brown and green tiles and smelled like an old cellar. Now everything is fresh and new. Because of our budget we used Ikea as a base with a "home made" concrete countertop. My pride and joy is the stove from Paul Bocuse.

  3. I can really see why you love your house and kitchen, you have obviously spent time doing up your house and thought about every detail! I think its really fab and the white with little hints of colour is lovely. Your post about random plates really made me laugh as I had a vision of people across the country eating their weetabix out of different places!

  7. Lovely kitchen! As a little kid I loved to make the mousse au chocolat by Paul Boucuse. Much to the liking of my dad who loved eating it!

  8. I love your kitchen too! I adore all of the white. I have a hard time with too much white because of my little ones. They like to touch things. :)

  9. Hi Linda,

Your title is perfect...because I love your house too! Everything about it screams fresh and comfy and GORGEOUS. When you say "home made" concrete countertop...did you make it yourself for real???? I'd love the tutorial on that! I was just saying something along that line to my husband and he thinks I'm nuts.

I am a happy new follower, can't wait to snoop through your blog very soon.

  10. I love your house too. I grew up in a wooden house..but it was wooden color..knotty pine actually. I always wanted to paint it white and we did paint the living room and dining room white for my mom when she was out of town about 16 years ago. She has passed away and sold it. It was in a part of town that was zoned for business and a window and siding shop bought it and finished all the other walls white. It looks so fresh..I know what you mean about how your walls would not look good Scritched!
