ilove....my bathroom

Although it's still work in progress we are getting there.... This is our downstairs bathroom which is not finished yet but at least i can take a hot bath now. The bath we chose is from Duravit and has plenty of room for two :) I like to make a combination between "old " and new so that's why the bath has a modern look.
The windows are recycled old windows from our house and behind them is our bedroom. The floor tiles are oversized and a natural sand color, the tiles on the bath have a "mother of pearl" finish so they have a different color everytime the light changes.I chose blue silk curtains for the windows to make it a little warmer and the chair is a leftover of a fashion photoshoot i did in the past.
So i still got some decorating to do but i think interiors have to grow, so for  now i am  Happy.

  11. Everything in your home is so relaxing and calm and white. Wish I could do that! If KennyRogersLookAlike could ever be persuaded to clear out the free standing garage in the back of all the stuff and circumstance!I could make it into a little cottage..but alas, that is never gonna happen. When you posted your kitchen a while back it was when I first found you, I immediately sent your blog to Regan and Marcel..Regan loves clean and white..for her kitchen...but she does like color in her other rooms...but just wanted you to know I sent the blog and pic of your kitchen to reaffirm her decorating ability..and lo and behold, you are from Holland!

  18. I am intrigued by your comment about blue silk curtains--I would never think that blue could be "warmer" but it is. Makes me rethink and I like that.
