ilove....miss Piggy

ilovemissPiggy. Not only this miss Piggy

Although i am a huge fan of her girl power...   Excusez moi

I mean this miss Piggy. It's a Dutch Rose which was selected to play a main role at the Royal wedding  today of  Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden.

So great that she picked this Rose, she chose it because she loves pink and they are beautiful. But i was thinking of the time when this Princess defeated  Anorexia and how brave she was to share this with the rest of the world and how great it is to pick a rose with this name.Girl power!

Congratulations
(this is her with her father who gave her away)

  10. Hi again
Thank you for the lovely comment on my blog. I hope the stair painting goes well, you sure have a task on your hands there. My 'To Do' list was so much easier. Our stairs are completely stripped and scrubbed so take no maintenance except a sweep and a wash. I love white and cream, but only paint my walls and furniture!

  13. I read that she was being criticized for having her father give her away, since it is frowned upon in Sweden as being "unliberated." Also, that she compromised and walked down the aisle with her father and fiance but I only see the father in this photo (which is fine, since I love tradition.) I love royal weddings and your article about the rose just adds to the intrigue! It's a beautiful rose, and pink is so feminine and traditional, as it appears the bride is as well! I also read that her husband had to be schooled in how to be a prince! He carries himself well, doesn't he, so it must have worked!

  14. I also read about this story, that's why i took the photo where her father gave her away. Unliberated? I think women who do what they like are the best example of liberation! Thanks for all your lovely comments. XX
