ilove....good losers

In fact everybody loves good losers, provided it's the other team. Oh God, what a night :(

No comment....

Thanks for all the support girls.

  1. Thanks for the comment.
I do appreciate that there are genuine football lovers and genuine players. Perhaps it's because we have had so much bad publicity about ours and their performance has certainly not matched the amount they are paid which makes me dislike it so much.
I am sorry Holland were runners up, I was on your side!
Did the 250 metre bunting go up though!!
    Regards Jenny x

  2. Congrats on doing so well in the World Cup! Go Oranje!

The plants that I use for my terrariums are in fact just any ordinary plant that likes a moist/ tropical air. They also need to be fairly small to fit inside the jars. You can use herbs also.
Just rememebr to place gravel or small stones in the bottom of the jar/ dish, so that excess water falls through and the roots don´t rot.
Start with a cheap plant, experiment and you´ll learn what it takes to make a perfect terrarium. It is very easy!

I do recommend the book The God of small things, it is a good read.

  3. just focus on taking the bunting DOWN. . .xxx

  4. My BF loves soccer ~ the night Germany lost I could hear her scream all the way from across the city... I don't think she was a good loser! Haha!

    Have a Happy Monday friend!

  7. Oh Linda!!! Thank you so much for your words!! You know what?? Yesterday while I was watching the play I was thinking about you!!
I´m not the biggest soccer fan, but we really enjoyed last night...And this great night was because two great countries played very good football!!!So happy we both made it to the final!! :)

    Have a wonderful week!!!!!

  8. Sports has become so political, there was no way the Dutch were going to take the title in South Africa, unfortunately. You can be proud of how hard you tried and supported your team.

  9. urgh! how stressful was that. I had my mother in law over who screamed everytime Spain had the ball...I was ready for the game to be over!! I am sooo proud of the boys in orange. Stacey

  10. Linda my friend
I watched the match in trepidation yesterday, waiting for the moment when I could have sent you my congratulations and see how it ended.. I was totally disappointed I can tell you!
    still.. the Dutch were great!!!
See you again in two years , at the European Cup !
    Hugs to you

  11. I was so disappointed! I wanted you to win so badly! XO!

  12. Ugh!! How disappointing. My neighbors were all screaming and yelling - the neighborhood is now so quiet! - Carrie :)

  13. second place isn't bad either! :)

  14. Awww that is such a sad picture! I didn't even watch the world cup, but I hate to see anybody lose anything. I can barely stand watching people get sent home on reality shows, haha! They look so disappointed. :(

  15. i felt so sad at their loss but spaniards got luckier. they can try again in 4 years. :)
